busted block

somehow a hex wrench found itself into the cylinder and broke the piston and cylinder wall

ouch call around and find yourself a low mileage 96-97 5.0 explorer motor add a nice cam and you will have a cobra spec motor

went to the junkyard and all have been harvested going to a new one this weekend...planning on just adding a E303 cam.

i havent used a hex wrench in over two years, i have no idea how it ended up in there...

didn't damage the head too badly

by putting mustang engine into a maverick....still looking for a stang...dad sold the one that he was going to give me......73 w/351C

if you cant find the explorer motor my next choice would be a lincoln mark 7 motor 88-92 exactly the same as the mustang 5.0 ho from the 87-93 cars

plus must yard dont know so its cheaper

yeah, you brought bad luck on yourself there! you mustRECANT!! haha

wonder if you left it under a valve cover and it worked through a valve or somthing.
