pulled out and drained my gas tank of about 6 gallons of premium and put in my truck

cut out my last floor pan section of rust and welded in the new panel. then sprayed the welds with undercoating to seal em.

and i covered about 80% of my floor with fake dynamatting. (just normal sticky window flashing . its the same exact stuff)



and tomorrow ill spray more undercoating and finish the sound deadener. and hopefully ill clean the trunk area and sound deaden that too.

my firewall insullation should be hear next week since it has to ship by ground due to the hazardous spray adhesive [>:]. and ill call mustangsplus and see where the hell my brake line kit is that i ordered on the 26th of april. i got an email saying it was backordered and will be shipped by the 1st of may. today is the 11th and i dont think it takes 10 days to ship 2 hours away from my house [:@].

looks good, need some sound deaden in my stang. Well I fiddled with the timing for hours on end, and couldn't seem to get my air to fuel mix correct. So after being pissed for the day ordered a new intake and hopefully a carb tomorrow.

what was it you used instead of dyna mat?

 

its called Peel&seal self-stick aluminum-faced flashing. i got it from lowes. 6"x25' rolls. its gonna take about 5 rolls to do the floor, doubled on the wheels wells and tranny hump, and the whole trunk. @ $15 a roll. so thats $75 for all the sound deadener. the only cool thing about dynamatting is it comes with a roller i think[8D]. but i already had one. item number on the barcode for the peel&seal is 95959 06251. its a gray and blue wrapper.

 

just to let you know peel and seal is not the same qualities as dynamat. Better yet Second Skin Damplifier. You can look up the comparisons done but they are no where near close. Yes it does do an okay job but not quite the same. Otherwise nice progress.

i would assume they dont work the same just due to the thickness of the material. which if thats the case you can double up the peal & seal and still be cheaper then dynamat ... last i saw that crap was like $50 for enough to do just one door
