Default Vintage Air A/C Bracket?

I am installing a Vintage ac system, and i have a drivers side output water pump. There doesn't seem to be any way to attach the Compressor bracket to the water pump - things just don't line up! Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas?

I have a 1968 302 5.0 liter. This is driving me crazy - the last piece to get my AC working, and it's getting hot out here in CA!!

Forgive me if this is a silly question - I'm fairly new this, and just trying to get some AC!

The new bracket that we (Vintage Air) sale that come with the kit does not attach to the water pump. It has a built in adjuster and doesn't need an idler. However if you bought your kit a couple of years ago there are two different brackets for early and late pump setups.
