i finally got my new headers. i decided to go with a set of hooker super comp ceramic coated 1 5/8 with 3 inch collector. i love em. they look amazing on the engine along with all the other polished alum accents. im very happy with them and the price wasnt too bad. they look way better then the old rusted black ones. here are some pics. i do have one question tho..whats the little tube lookin thing around the primary tube? its closed off inside, and i have NO clue what its for. now all i gota do is putmy 3 inch X pipe and 50 series flows on and ill be set, cant wait!!!

Wow you have alot of room between ur shock towers and headers... I can barely fit a piece of paper between mine:S

 

If its the tube looking thing i am thinking of (i have a u-tube on my hooker competition headers), it is for the heat riser tube for an electric choke. Is it in one of the pictures?

 

too much room?? its only 289..the same amount of room as anyone else with aSBF inthe older stangs,btw im glad u liked the headers lol[8D]dodgestang i see you have a 408..stroked 351W right?? shouldnt be thatmuch bigger then a 289/302 blockandShawnb23, what engine do you have? i have never seen a 289 look any diff what so ever in the engine bay. these comments arent meant to be cocky, im just sayin... id also say my engine compartment looks great. its not all crammed up, and looks clean the way it is.
