Default custom panels

Since I saw this back in Sept 06, I can't stop thinking about it as I decide to take on the task of bodywork and paint. In CA the front license plate is required. It's one of those easy excuses cops love when they want to pull you over. I've also wanted to include a cowl or cold air system, but don't want to look like a chevy. I saw this, and it was right on the money. Wanted to see what yoooz folks think. The hood was fab'd from the roof of a late model mustang, and the valance was custom made.

That hood isn't there for cowl induction, it's there for clearance. If you want a cowl hood, it needs to extend all the way back to the cowl. While I do like cowl hoods, I hate non-functional cowl hoods. Simply stuffing the air cleaner through a hole in the bottom of a cowl hood is not cowl induction; there needs to be a seal there.

The valence looks ok, aside from the (illegal) red turn signals.

please fix the link. its SUPER LONG.

dont know how? then type something random, like "cool mustang"

then highlight it, then click the little "world" tab above this type box with that says "insert link" then just put that SUPER LONG link into that and press ok.

otherwise thats one of the nicest and most badass mustangs ive ever seen. thats up there with the obsidian. maybe even better cause it gets driven [:-]

Here is someone else doing a similar project. http://nwautocreations.com/ He lives just up the street from me and is doing this car for a customer. He is going to do one with a 67 Fastback body next for himself. I am hoping to get the leftovers of the fastback to replace all of the rusted underside of my 67 Fastback.

Heres a site about that car http://www.sn65.com/SN65%20story.htm and it has a front plate on it.Kentucky if you have antique plates you have to run a front one and i hate it only antique and taxi have to here. The reason they did the hood like that was the blower probably wouldn't clear the hood and theres many ways to make a hood bubble or scoop.A little note next time google gives you a site like that Below is the image in its original context on the page click that one gives you the true link or tinyurl.com it.
