old iginition switch won't turn? PROBLEM SOLVED
 

Well I am trying to take out my old ignition switch but unfortunately The switch will not turn so... How do I disengage it to remove the cylinder so I can remove the bezel ultimately enabling me to remove the switch???[&:] This sucks I may just go mad and drill that junk out!:D

I even broke off my original set of keys trying to turn the cylinder to the on and off position?...[sm=badbadbad.gif]

how long did you fiddle with it? it took me a long time but eventually it just came out like it was supposed to... I would just wiggle the paperclip or whatever while turning the key... also, you could try loading it up with wd40 to make everything move better.

[sm=badbadbad.gif] I got a new tool last night and decided this would be a great oppertunity to use it, I nice 5lb sldie hammer from harbor frieght did the trick!:D

I am gonna go replace it right now and hopefully cruise tonight;)
