Default 1967 Coupe newbie, needs help

Hi,
I just purchased a 1967 coupe. The car is in pretty good shape. The brakes seemed to be ok on the 1st day I drove the carbut yesterday the brakes seemed tonot beengaging all the way. When you pump the brakesa couple of times it seems to get a little better but stillscary. The front brakesare disc if that helps at all and per prior owner, the master cylinder was replaced about 2 years ago. I am goingto bring it to a random brake place tomorrow but wanted to get anidea of what I am in for. Does any one know a good reasonable mechanic in the San Fernando Valley, Ca area?

Thanks,

Justin

it almost seems like they need to be bled well. also, when the master cylender was replaced it may not have been bled id try that as well as all 4 corners

bleed the brakes. start as far away from the master cylinder as you can. which means passenger rear wheel first. then driver side. then pass front. then driver front.

He might not have checked to see if it had fluid. Did you?
