Default edlebrock performer carb

Yes its been one of those days. I went to install a performer rpm intake manifold and the performer carb both are made by edlebrock. So here's the thing I have a 69 which originally had a 2 bbl 302 the throttle cable bracket was mounted to the rear of the carb, and the transmission kick down was connected to the bottom of the throttle linkage on the old setup. I have purchased the edlebrock fix all your problems adapters the 1483 linkage adapter and the 1490 throttle cable bracket relocation bracket?

Here is the question Starting what year did the throttle cable bracket mount vertically on the manifold as opposed to horizontally on the carb. I know all that b.s. for a stupid question. I hope someone can help me with this I am pulling out my teeth here. There is another half to the question then If this bracket does exist will it work with the factory throttle cable or does everything have to change?

Thank you. I think I may have found a solution. I have been told that the '83-'85 5.0 had the bracket that I want I just don't know if the cable will work or if it needs to be replaced. Worst case scenario I can make something, I just aint a master fabricator and was trying to keep it nice.

Thanks
