Thanks, the hoses are the cover kits that you can get at Checker Auto and /or auto Zone. I cant find the ones with the plain aluminum ends anymore, but the are availible with the anodized redor blue end pieces. the radiator I got online at http://stores.ebay.com/CLASSIC-RADIA...Q3amesstQQtZkm

+1.

At least someone thinks they aren't that slow. My friend says my I6 is crap. Yet I hit more HP than his V8.

Yea, I know. I've put up with a little flack over the years for sticking with the I6. For the most part, I've kept the mods somewhat mild except for the look under the hood. I want to maintain a basically stock exterior appearance. I've upgraded suspension to an 8 in rearwith five lug, swapped out the 3 speed for a '70 C4, added electronic ignition, headersand installed a mild cam. Picking up some 3.50 gears next week and hope to do a D7 large log head with a Weber 32/36next year. What ya' running on your?

As of right now it has electronic ignition, fomoco 1bbl, bored .040, 3 speed, still has the 7.5 with 3:20 gears. Hopefully it will get a 2bbl holley, headers in the future, hydrolic cam, T5 swap, and in the distant future a T4 turbo setup.

Friends stang has a 78 Maverick 302 that only hits 140 HP. I am guessing I hit around 145-150 HP. I haven't had time to dyno it yet. I've only had the car just over a year and the mods just started after christmas. Crappy 3 speed makes me lose all acceleration as soon as I go into 3rd.

[sm=oopssign.gif]Wrong year. It was a 1972 Maverick 302. --> 302-8 drops to 8.5:1 and 140 hp.

That radiator looks great. I wish I knew you could get them for that price before I replaced mine with a regular black one.

I also have the same valve cover and header's you have. I'd like to try a new cam but I don't have the know how to do it or money to pay to have it done.
