wow.. wheres all our old members?
I just see a bunch of new members here, wheres all our older members? i havent been on the classic section in quite some time. haha. Anyway... my question. I got a 67 mustang conv. with factory air conditioning, and i believe the switch that control the a/c heat, defroster, etc is leaking. Its all vacuum controled and my controls have stopped workin and i hear air coming from the switch. anybody know where to get a replacement? sorry if my grammer or typing is incorrect. im typing this from my phone.
I can't answer the AC question but I can tell you that some of the older members left when Soaring was stripped of his admin powers and immaturely “took his toys and went homeâ€. Some people left with him.
Have you checked the tubing to make sure it isn't cracked or anything? I can't find that switch in my parts catalogs, so only other place I can think of is Ebay or hope someone on here has an extra.

You feel air comming out of the switch itself but not out of the vents? Does the switch do anything? Is it the same effect when it is off or do you at least ear it kick on? Can you feel a leak if you trace the lines?

I was born in 54, I should also count, even though I just found this site yesterday. It is a bit overwhelming trying to learn to navigate around here. So much information I am almost afraid to ask a question as I am sure the answer is already here, I just can not find it. Spent all morning trying to figure out how to upload a picture to the "engine bay" thread and never did get it. I will continue on. Surely I can get better at this.
