Good post, I've often wondered the same.

AV8ForFun....Aviate For Fun.

I used tofly Pipers and Cessnas as a hobby. I've used this screen namefor years on all the sites like some of the others have done. I don't fly anymore, since 9/11 it is crazy expensive. 10 years ago, I could rent a small Piper with fuel for about $20 - $25 an hour. Could spend $50 or $100 and fly3 or4 times a month....now it would cost about$100 an hour.

Now my hobbies are closer to the ground and AV8ForFun still works on the car....

My first name is Day so my Mustang would be "Day's Mustang" However sense I work on projects in my head all the time even when I am not out in the garage people might think I am in a daze because I am preoccupied. Day's + daze = Daze and or DazeCars

Ihad a brain fartand could'nt think of anything else at the time. I sometimes wish that I had chowen something different. I use it on several forums so I guess I'm stuck with it. I do get a kick out of driving it though.

When I learned to fly it was $15 an hour, and that included the fuel and instructor - back in the mid seventies. Gave it up when it got too expensive to fly often enough to stay good at it. Mostly flew 150s. Also did the RC plane thing for while but that's a hobby which can suck up a lot of time and is best left for retirement. Basically if it is mechanical and moves, I like it!

We played lots of paintball and we would often split our fire team in half in order to hold one section of the field and advance or bail out a friendly. Of course we used radios a lot so I was GunJam we had Uptown, Downtown, and Boone.

I pretty much use that name in all the online stuff i play or attend its also fitting being that I own enough firearms to look real impressive when I lay them out on the beds because one bed isnt big enough.

Boogerschnot .. Sounds pretty darned stupid don't it? When I joined the forum I was only looking into info on mustangs and needed a screen name, it was the first and easiest thing that popped in my head. My wife had said it one day, and I use it as my AIM screen name so.. I figured why not.. And it just so happend that I bought a green car to match the name..
