Default Testing Photo Bucket

Trying to see if I can figure out PhotBucket.

OK I give up. Can someone explain:
how to put a picture on the left by my name
imbed pictures in the post.

I signed up with a photobucket account and can upload photo's into photobucket. I can't figure out how them transfer them here.

Copy and past the URL of the image and put it between image tags like displayed below. I think the tag text (img) needs to be lower case so look out for that. The URL text needs to be exact so just copy/paste the URL.

Code:

Read this,

http://www.yotatech.com/~corey/help.htm

those directions are for a different web site, but the same rules apply on this one, such as the "[img]your-photo-address-here[/img]"

when you take off the quotes, replace the "your-photo-address-here" with an actual address (called "direct link" in photo bucket)

Or in photo bucket you can just copy and paste the img code that appears below the pics

The picture under your name is called an Avatar. Click on My Profile in the blue menu bar at the top and scroll down to Avatar. Upload a picture for your Avatar. They can not be more than 20 kb and 145 X 145 in size. If you have a picture you want to use but can't resize it, email it to me and I will resize it and send it back.

There are two ways to embed pictures. The way already described by using Photobucket will place them full size directly in the post. The other is like the screen shot in this post. You click on the picture and it opens full size in a second window. To do that you can't use the "Quick Reply." You have to choose "Post Reply" and then under the text area you will check the box to "Embed picture in post" and then click on "Click here to upload" to upload the photo from your computer. I think you are limited to 5 pictures per post and a total 4 or 5 hundred kb in size. I usually make mine 8 inches long or high and 72 DPI and then save as a JPG at a 6 or 9 quality.

OK you got me there. Your car is nicer than mine (I think 69 and 70 F/B are the best looking cars ever made, by any company at any price) and I'm would just be happy if mine stopped disapearing. I am not even going to try fancy changing colors.
