Default Just bought a '65 Fastback!

I thought I'd formally introduce myself. I'm Scott, just graduated high school. I've owned both a 1968 Sport Satellite (383 big block car), and a '67 Cougar (289 2V). My dad has had is share of projects as well. I've always wanted a fastback and finally found the right car. I think I got a great deal on it. The car is wearing its original paint, and let me tell you, this thing is straight. No rust and almost ding/dent free. The interior is original and complete. Its an A Code and still has the original engine/tranny (runs). It also has the pony interior. I'm really excited. My short term goal is to get the car running/driving. I need to clean out the tank, replace the fuel lines, some other normal tune up items and also inspect and service the brakes. I'm hoping to have it running/driving for the weekly cruise in car show on Saturday night. What do you guys think was a fair price on this car? Just want to see how I did.

Nice looking car. Did you get all the a/c components with it? I would upgrade the brakes and suspension if you do anything for an improvement. Just keep all the old parts you take off.

Yeah the missing compressor and brackets came with the car. What do you guys think would be a fair price to pay for something like this? It'll crank over. I disconnected the fuel tank though. I want to wait to clean that thing out first. The owner had it running the other day. He just moved it around his yard. The foot brake goes to the floor. I think a brake line has a hole it in somewhere and all the fluid leaked out. Or maybe someone just drained all the fluid I'm not sure, but the E brake sort of works.
