Default Power steering control valve

We jsut picked up a p/s control valve and center link for our '65 coupe. it is used (of course) and in need of a rebuild and repack. I got the control valvestripped down tonight, but cant figurre out how the ball stud comes out of the center link. Does anyone know of a site that shows the breakdown and instructions for rebuilding this control valve and ball stud? Thanks

The bronze ball stud bushing will slide way down into the centerlink, or should. When it does, the opening on the top of the bushing becomes larger, and the ball stud just lifts out.

This may help - http://www.stangerssite.com/CanIControlValve.html

Ok, we got all of the control valve and center link torn apart and everything looks to be in good shape. The ball stud and bronze socket were heavily greased and so not a problem to remove and are not worn or damaged. The spool valve and centering spring are perfect. Ordering the rebuild kit tomorrow but I'm gonna have to come up with some hose tube seats, 3 of one size and 1 of another. Maybe Stanger can help me out there. I cleaned all the rust and crud off everything and applied a coat of gloss black to protect, gonns use silver for the control valve. Cleaned the pump mounts and repainted. Next is the pump teardown, clean, inspect and rebuild. Maybe I can get my camera to work and see if I can get some pics up here. Later all.
