Default 1965 Red Interior

I have a 64 ½ convertible that I just had the interior redone and I wasn’t sure at first, but I think that the interior color is light and orangery than it should be. A good pic for showing this is here http://picasaweb.google.com/VanEeFam...39456785775314 More pics can be found here: http://picasaweb.google.com/VanEeFam...angNewInterior[/b] I am interested in your opinion on the color. For reference the dash pad is dark..its a 66, I have the correct one, just haven’t put it on yet. The door panels are new and are correct. Does anyone have the color code for the interior, this would be nice to have prior to talking to the painter who did it. Thanks in advance.

My 67 interior looks like that. Most of the stuff in it is original. So I think it looks ok. Sometimes when you take a picture it actually turns out orangy.

personally if you were going after concourse or something I would be more concerned about the apparent missing texture on your doors.

These pictures don't show it..I tried to take more, but this picture isn't the best either...dark garage but does show grain. In any case this isn't going to be a concourse vehicle.

If you look at the frist picture, the one labled before, on the door tothe left, it looks orangy where the light is hitting it. That may be what you notice more now. But I can see some orange before.

It is when the flash hits it the paint turns orange. You can tell from the 2 pics I have uploaded. 1 without flash and the other with.

Here is a picture that doesn't have a flash, still looks light. Monday I will ask him what paint code he used.
