Default Instrument panel help

My gauge lights have quit working. I have checked both the bulbs and the fuse and they are good. What else is there?

Also they quit working when I put my radio in about6 months ago.

i had mine completly out last weekend. there are actually 4 bulbs. they are all connected to the same wire. you may have unplugged it or even knocked the ground loose. the panel comes out easy and you can find the wiring scematic onlinon my 66 it was a blue wire with a red stripe

I just spent the last 20ish minutes rewiring my gauges and putting bulbs in, but it seems these guys already got you the answers.

And not to steal the thread, but there is a plug on a light blue wire w/ black strip, is that for the clock? I dont have the clock, but have this unused connector with no where to connect..

According to the 66 factory service manual pg 15-16, there is a blue/black wire that is for the ralley pak clock power, black for ground and blue/red for the clock light power.

I noticed this on mine also. It was taped together with all the other wires. I also found a green 1 that wasn't connected down by the light switch.

Not to thread highjack but I wanted to point out in the new Mustang Monthly Magazine (if you have a subscription) Yearone is now offering a Gauge bezel for 69/70 Mustangs. It has 2 -5" gauge slots and 4 - 2 1/16"gauge slots for 169.00! Might not sound like much but that sure beats trying to make your own or buying the plug in kit from JME. (I just didn't have a grand to spend on that).

Sorry to thread steal.

If it's not the fuse and not the ground and not the bulb, then it's the headlight switch.
