Default Export Brace

Does anybody know of a compny that makes an export brace for a 72? I want to add this and a monte carlo bar to help keep the front end all lined up since I have a lot more power now. After I get the limited slip installed or axle switched (may replace the 8 inch for a nine), I may get a new larger swaybar andsome Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks to compliment the stiffners. I would put in some subframe connectors, but I refuse to do anything that cannot be undone, and welding the subframes on will cross that line.

They make bolt-in subframe connectors but even so, weld-in connectors could still be "un-done".

I'll keep an eye out for the braces...

Can you fill me in on the bolt in connectors? I would like to get some, but I dont know. Im not doing any welding on my car. I weld great, I do it all the time and have a lot of experience. Sorry, but its just not going to happen.

Well I believe if you get the bolt in ones you have to drill holes in the frame rails anyways, so I doubt you'll consider that over the weld on kind. I have weld in on my 67...

The ford made a shock tower brace that has two pieces and is kinda ugly. But look at http://www.mpgheads.com/ they have a better looking export brace and a monte carlo bar.For a even better looking monte carlo bar http://www.streetortrack.com/Street-or-Track-Quick-Release-Shock-Tower-Brace-pr-23524.html yes its best to weld in the sub frame connectors bolt is iffy. For a cheap 9 inch housing try http://www.perogie.com/Rears.htm any thing else you cant find shoot me a pm.

I have some 9" parts if your interested. The housing could use some work but the axles are in great condition and the ring gear on the center looks brand new...

Whats wrong with the housing, and is it for a 72? The width is wider than for a 67. I need a housing and third member if they are usable.
