Default V8 standard driveshaft length

Hi all,

I finally got my T5 and rearaxle in the car.
The only thing I'm missing is a driveshaft as I can't use the one from the 6 cylinder (see earlier post about 1100/1300 u-joints).
So from this I need a new driveshaft.
I see that modern driveline sell shafts that are 50.25" length center to center.
What I'd like to know is what is the factory default driveshaft length for a 64-66 Mustang?
I believe that the moderndrivelines driveshafts are shortened to accomodate the T5, but I seem to need a 51" driveshaft.
I don't want to order a special made 51", when that's the default lenght anyway.
Does anyone know or can anyone measure a standard V8 driveshaft? U-joiunt center to U-joint center.

Thanks a million

Find a driveshaft shop and get a price on having one made. Last time I had one made special was because it was cheaper than a stock replacement.

there might be only one driveshaft shop in this country.
And I'm thinking about having one made (in US). In U.S. especially fopr the reason that noone over here knows what a 1310 yoke is.

So from this: If anyone knows the correct length for a V8 driveshaft I might just try and source a _used_ one.
If that's not an option I have one made.

To clarify: when I don't know the stock V8 driveshaft length for 64-66 models, then I don't know if a used one will fit ...
I simply don't have one. Mine was i6

i have found reference that the original driveshaft is 51" u-joint center to center.
So the question is: does anyone have one of those lying around (to sell) ?
For a T5 (28-spline) ... ?!
I have the car finished and I can't drive it because I have no driveshaft
