hmm block years?

ok.. i know this is everywhere but for some reason my dumbass self cannot find it..

what year did they switch the 302 to a roller block? i need to get a non roller short block :| was it 68-84?? or ?

ahh good good. so my suspicion was correct. now.. converting to a roller block.. if i got a roller long block, and wanted more bump i just swap the cam, bolt everything back on and switch the firing order correct?

you follow the firing order of the cam your using the 351(5.0 h.o.) firing order cams will make more power and run smoother

if your getting a new short block why not get a roller one? its cheaper to buy a roller cam for

i probably will, since i got roller lifters etc, i might as well just complete the roller lineup. guess i'll need new pushrods now but hey whatev. at least everything transfers from my 289 to it.

i wanna build a roller 289 just machine the lip off the crank so you can use the 1 piece rear main seal
