Gauge Question
I'm looking at the Yearone Dash Bezel they just came out with for the 69/70 Mustangs.
It allows 2 - 5" and 4 2 1/16" gauges.
I would prefer mechanical gauges b/c they are more accurate
I found this http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...833&sid=71
But there is no 5" Tach and the Speedometer only goes to 120 (not that I'm really planning to go that fast on any public street).
My question is anyone know where I can get a 5" in dash Tach?
Or what options are the rest of you all doing that change out your gauges.
I want to add better gauges to my car including all that the above kit offers but I have not found a 5" tach only gauge.

Maybe I'm wrong. I thought the Speedometer in the 69/70 Mustangs were 5". Granted I haven't seen my car in a month...
The dash bezel Yearone sells is http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/f...ain2.asp?cat=E

Um, autometer does make the 5 inch in dash tach and speedo. And you can get a 160 or 120 MPH gauge. It just depends on which style you want. For example, the Sport Comp style: the part numbers are: Speedo:3995 for 160 MPH, 3994 for the 120 MPH.Tach:3990 for 10,000 RPM.
Hey Tyler72 your right I remember seeing that yesterday now. Do they have the Fuel, Oil, Water Temp, and Voltmeter in the 2 1/16" for the four outer gauge holes? Trying to get those at least so I have a little more control over the mechanics of the car. (I.E. so I can see when it's running hot etc.)
Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot about the Sport Comp ones.

Yeah, they do. Just go to their website and click on the gauges under the thing that says "gauge selector." Select the style of guages you want, such as cobalt, ultra light, sport comp ect. Then select the type (electric, mechanical) and the diameter.
Here are the part numbers for the Sport Comp ones:
Fuel: 3315
Oil: Electric: 3327 Mechanical: 3321
Water Temp: Electric: 3337 Mechanical: 3332
Volts: 3391
Hope this helps. Keep in mind there are other styles availible if you dont like this style.

That's what I'm talking about. Those pics look great to me. I'm trying to decide if I'll go with black or white faced gauges. The new Nexus Gauges are nice (for a restomod) with the ability to change the color of the lights and the other features they have in them (as far as electrical goes). Leaning though towards the black faced to give it more of a traditional look in the gauge cluster b/c I'm putting a GPS Nav System and updated seats in it.
Thanks Tyler72 for posting the parts numbers.

That link goes to a kit-box.Look at the gauges individually. You'll find a 5" in-dash speedo there.
I just installed Auto Meter gauges in my '67 coupe, including 5" speedo & tach, so I know they have them.
I bought mine through www.egauges.com. It was the cheapest site I found.
Here's how mine turned out:
