Lost keys, trunk locked, any way to get inside?
Hello,
I am new to the forums and I am stuck a little bit. I recently bought a 65 Fastback and, to make a long story short, the only set of keys where lost. I have replaced the ignition lock so I can drive the car and the doors locks are on my to do list. The problem is the trunk is still locked and I have no key. The trunk pass thru is locked and I was wondering if there is a way to jimmy the pass thru lock. There is something in the trunk that is rolling around and I really would like to remove it.
Thanks
Dan

I can pay the $35, which seems to be the going rate for the trunk lock, but I was just hoping to gain access until then.
I didn't lose the keys, they were lost by some kid who works at my friends shop. I have been waiting for them to turn up so the shop (or the kid) wouldn't have to pay for them.

I mentioned that it was a fastback for the reason that you can access the trunk from the interior of the car. I am trying to gain access that way. Is it possible to open that lock?
Yes, it is possible to gain accesses to your trunk, but you have to have a key to do it. Therefore the statement that you have to have a locksmith to make you a key. If you don't want to do that, and you have a lot of time to gain accesses to your hatch, then drill out the current key access, and order a new one. Your choice.
If your lock is jammed due to corrosion , don’t bother about it , just call locksmith nj. They can arrive at your location without delay to solve your problem.

Seriously, call a locksmith to get your trunk opened. And, have them make you a copy of your trunk lid key.
