It can get pretty hot here in the Houston area.

Looking into the idea of adding A/C to my '66 Coupe is on my longer term list of "to do's" but I have too many other more important items to spend the time / parts money on right now.

I still have nothing i my car. That's what the windows ar for right? I have been debating this for a while. What does this to to the value of an otherwise "origonal" car? Guess that's a question for the "purest's" out there.

Deep South Texas here and it doesnt really get hot here.....we're used to Hell. We have purchased all of the original A/C parts for our '65 coupe and will be installing it in the near future. Just waiting on a reciever/dryer. We also have a Monte bar and I am looking at fabbinga rear brace that runs from the comprressor, under the Monte bar back to the intake manifold.

I have a 67 F/B ,289,A/T, M/S with a vintage air system. I live in south Florida so I use it a LOT!! my car's a daily driver , also. It's been almost four years since I installed it and so far, so good. Works fine, no problems. I have the system that isin the dash, not under the dash.
Hope that helps,
Jay67fast
P.S. If youhave questions or need more info PM me, I'll try to help.

That is what I like to hear. Think I will go with Vintage myself. As far as Az. just leave it parked until November. You will have 4 months to drive it and need no air. Those are the months we stay over near Safford.
