This is from the right side of the car. My car only has 1 latch, the left side is unsupported.

Here's mine (1966). Things don't look so rusted and dirty without that flash! [:@]

While your taking picks of your car, the most aft portion of my fold down seat portion is unattched to anything. Could you take a pic of your hinges with it laying flat and opened.
Thanks

The fastback floor section that contacts the trap door has 2 screws that go through it into a couple braces beneath. But most of the time, the screw heads are completely obscured by the carpet. They're hard to find even when you know where to look.

Not without unbuckling two child seats! [:@]

Thank You,
Do the latches sit on a plate or are they directly bolted on?

The latch assembly looks to sit on a bracket that is welded to frame of the car. The bracket from the side is shaped like the number "7" The top of the "7" is where the assembley is mounted to. To get a picture of the bracket, I would have to get the side panel off. It should have time tomorrow if you need me to do that.

I have had no time to take the panel off yet. I should be able to tomorrow.
