Default Tire Size Help

I am thinking on getting a set of Torq Thrust D 15x7 with 235 60 15 T/A tires for my 67 Coupe . Can anyone see any trouble with these not working. Or does anybody run these size of tires that they can post a pix of ,thanks.

I don't think those will have any problems. I run 245/50R16s in the rear. So I think those will work. So I know you can use up to 245. My rims are 16x7, just 1 inch bigger than yours.

I have the same wheel and tire on the rear of my 66. No problems.

235 is on the upper end of what i would put on a 7" rim and 245 is 8" terrtitory.

i have 225/60/15s on 15x7 ttds had some rubbing issues on the front of my 66 but might be ok on a 67. the issue is the backspacing is only 3.75". what that means is that it is pushing the outer edge of the rim closer to the wheel arch compared to, say,a mag500 in the same wheelwhich has4.125" bs. Makes a big difference. rub or not rub will also depend a little on your ride height and spring rates at the front as well.

Not an issue for the rears.

have you looked at dodgestangs chart?

btw, ttds do look very cool on a mustang! I dont think you would regret the choice.
but i would also ask the following questions...
1) manual or power steer?
2) would you run a different size front and rear?

if manual steer i would tend to stick to the 225s on the front and if you were prepared to go 2 different rim sizes, i would consider 8" with 245s for the rear to fill out those big fenders.

Depending if your car is lowered they will work. My 67 is lowered and I put the 16s on. It didn't change my ride height at all. I have banged up my front fenders pretty bad and the rear tires get cut into when I hit bad bumps. You might have this problem, but I guess it depends on your car. I would recommend rolling fenders if you have this problem. I still have to do mine.
