but the other day i changed my oil, this time using the "not street legal" valvoline racing stuff, and there seems a be a very noticeable improvement as to smoothness and idle quality now. but mabeye this is just me?

Not sure. Another guy claimed that Royal Purple oil improved his MPG.

ahh if only the mental happiness of oil changes and fuel injector cleaner transfered over into increased HP and 1/4 times.

jk

it may idel smoother and run better. i personally dont think it would increase your horsepower tho. use the good stuff tho. my grandpa is old fashioned and says oil is oil. but i think the good stuff is better.

Synthetic has been dyno proven to give you a couple of horses. If you can feel that you have a sensitive bottom.....

i plan to run royal purple in my 66 302 when the break in is done,...

i have used royal purple in my 3 other cars and i swear by it, im sorry, but i think its some of the best stuff out there and i have done research,...i have royal purple in all my radiators (purple ice), motor oil, and gear oil, and automatic trans fluid,...

ok so mabeye its not just me being optomistic.. but just to clarify, i never said I felt more power, just smoother. technicality, i know haha

was it the 20w50 stuff? its cause it still has the zinc. but seems heavy for a street drivin car
