Can some one give me an idea on what all would be needed to convert a 1970 coupe to a fastback??

Its a lot of work and money unless you can weld trust your life on your welds and have a not worth saving fastback for parts its cheaper to buy a fastback.Theres a lot of parts that are not remade yet so finding them will get pricey fast.Unless you want to spend 6-8 grand to have a coupe with a fastback roof put on it which you can't sell for the fastback price since the vin says its a coupe.

You basically need all the exterior fastback panels from the door back, and the roof (full quarter panels, taillight panel, outer wheel house, roof, filler panel behind glass, trunk lid, quarter panel extensions, back glass, roof, etc..... . Then you have to make all this stuff fit right.

Like everyone else said, better off to start with a fastback in the first place.

It's a small world....

I have a picture of that car in my garage. I know the previous owner. The car is located about 15 minutes from me.
