Very strange exhaust problem

Very strange exhaust problem
Anybody know what could be doing this? Only happens once a year...usually on the same day. I fire it up and this is what I get. It's always fine the next day. Been driving me crazy. Timing? Plugs? I guess that's what I get for buying an American made car.
