My new tires are 225/55/16. The factory 05-06 tires are like a 65 series or something. Way too tall. Of course, you do have to run wheel adapters/spacers. I'm running 1.5, and they seem pretty safe because they're bolted on.

60s might work. I have trouble with them banging my fenders. If your car is lowered watch out for that. If not I think you are good.

I had 50s on my rears. Now they are 60.

Well my car is lowered and they banged up my front fender. My rears actually were getting sliced by the fenders. My rears were 245/50R16s. I now have 235/60ZR16. They have yet to hit because they are smaller.


When they sliced I had to hit a really good bump to do it. So I think you will be good. Just roll the fronts to make sure, you can roll the rears if you want.
