Serpentine Belt question
So, less HP to turn the pullies, huh? I was on my way from a small town in west Texas with my new 03 Mach1 and the serpentine belt broke. Well, guess what? I had no power anything. I managed to limp back to a small town that didn't have a Ford dealer, so called another dealer and they came and got it and replaced the belt, but it cost Ford a butt load of warranty money to replace it. I am just antsy with only one belt, but that is what I have, so I guess I will just have to live with it.
Well the rotating mass theory is just my theory lol.
You drive a '65, you should be used to no power anything. :-p
It sucks when the power brakes go out. I had to turn a car off coming up on a stop sign, and made the mistake of pressing the brakes twice, then letting off. When I went to go press the third time, it was like a rock, and I wasn't stopping.. Luckily there was no one in front of me.

I guess I have to explain again. I was in my 03 mach1 which came from the factory with a serpenine belt. I have never been stranded with my 65. That old girl just keeps on ticking.
