Default Need help

I have a 1965 Mustang 289 2v. I have upgraded to a Holley 670cm electric carb, MSD ignition, Typhoon Intake and electric fan. I recently installed a Aftermarket Tach and I don't know what to set the Rev limit to. Can anyone help me?

5,000 should be good if you know the rest of the engine like the crank, rods, have been redone in the last 40 years and are good quality.

If they are not good quality or 40 years old or you don't know...you should not rev above 4,000

Okay..

for the average aggressive pass I shift at about 4,200 you could probably get away with 5,000 no problem but shifting around 4,000 isnt as hard on the engine.
