Default Shock tower Reinforceent Pictures

I thought some of you might like to see some pictures of how unique reinforced the shock towers. Note how they welded up where the metal meets.

For all of their problems, they did some nifty stuff.

Wish I would have seen this before I did my rebuild/transplant.

I bet that really solidifies the front end. I too should have looked into doing that while everything was out of the car.

Most body guys should be in prison for the quality of their work and the crap that they pull.

I always find it funny when the prisoner topic and UP comes up.

Does everyone think that prisoners have no job skills? Just because a guy robs a bank doesn't mean he didn't run a welder or use a body hammer for 20 years prior to that. Okay, the guy got drunk and robbed a seven-eleven. It's not like that's all he's ever done is rob Qwiki-marts his whole life. Prisoners have job skills just like everyone else.... they just made some dumb decisions and are paying the price with time.

Look closely at the quality of your license plates.... see any defects? If some guy can make a license plate, I'm pretty sure he can figure out how to bend a piece of metal or work a welder.... afterall, he has a lot of time to practice.

; )

Prisoner labor or not, i like what they did. And, i'm also glad for the rumors because it helped me get the cars for pretty cheap. Only problem now is i cant sell the other one i have, so i might have to build it further along in order to sell it.
