Has anyone swapped their automatic transmission for a T-5? I have a T-5 in my 1966 mustang that has a twisted body and wonder if I need to make sure I buy a body that had a manual in it originally.

 

Did this to my '66 last year, the only thing you may have to worry about is where the Z bar connects to the body. But, if you go with a cable clutch then that would elliminate that issue. There is a lot of info on this swap online. Most of which you can find in the FAQs on this site.
