Default Power steering cylinder mount bracket

While under the car working ont he clutch equalizer bar, I chanced to look at the frame rail where the power steering cylinder bracket mounts. The holes were drilled in the frame rail for the mount, but no nutplates were installed!! Whats the best way to remedy this problem? Should I go into the frame rail with some universal sockets and try and get the mount mounted that way? I know I dont want to open the frame rail by cutting. BTW,..this is not a bracket for headers, just your standard everyday stock bracket.

The frame didn't come with threaded inserts unless it had factory power steering. The inserts are available from most Mustang shops. Be sure to install them correctly - http://www.stangerssite.com/framebrackets.html

Thanks Stanger, I should have known that you would know how this was done and hopefully you have those little inserts in your shop.

Sorry, but I don't keep the inserts in stock. Your local Ford dealer MIGHT have them, but your best bet is a regular Mustang shop.
