Default ALT + 0180

I just got to this forum but the apostrophe thing just freaks me out. I´m over it.

ALT + 0180

I use ALT keys a lot so this is easy to type. The other thing is trippy. Characters multiplying. That´s messed up. Where did they get this software? Target?

The software has been corrupted because a virus, or some hacker. We are getting new boards soon.

I don't know why the backups where messed up too.

Gotta be frustrated Chevy people (Mopar guys don´t have computers; too complicated).

Thanks. I´ve used vB as a WM and it´s great. Good luck with the transfer of 6 gazillion posts.

Lol. The change over should be fine. As long as we have competent IT guys.

It´s a slightly different apostrophe character that you enter by using its ASCII code. I use a few others, too. ALT + 248 for the degree sign is one. BTW, I think you have to use the keypad numbers instead of the typewriter ones.

I´d been using the "quote" marks for apostrophes. Doesn"t look any worse than anybody else´s initial posting and at least the "´s weren"t multiplying.

BTW, thanks Carlos.
