cant say quality wise how it will hold never had one like that before.

Thanks guys. Gun you may be right on quality, but I haven't modified the engine yet she's still stock after all these years. I will consider a racing pump when I rebuild her.

Bottom line:
Installed the new pump, had to remove power steering. Fired her up and the pressure guage read 6lbs for half hour. Took her for a ride and put about 25 miles on her. She ran nice. Problem fixed. Thank you everyone.

it should hold up for a while for 20 bucks not sure how great it can be but as long as it does the job.
