Default 65 200ci Clutch Question

Guys, I have a 65 coupe 200ci- 3 speed. My question is I am needing a clutch soon and have found articles on 8.5" and 9" clutches. I have found conflicting info on this. Did Ford use two or does the 200 use the 9". I saw one that claimed 66 and later was 9" and 65 and earlier was 8.5". Also another article that stated only the 170 and smaller used the 8.5". I know the easy way to find out is pull mine but I would rather leave it alone and have a clutch set on the shelf. Can anyone give me any info they can on this and also if I am running an 8.5 could a 9" set work without changing the flywheel? Anything would help.
Thanks, Mike

They switched in '66, is your flywheel recessed or flat? Recessed would be the smaller one and flat is the 9".
This is a recessed one
You might be able to look through the hole the clutch fork goes though on the bellhouse. Also you could look at the top of the bellhouse to block to see if there are 2 holes at top that aren't being used. The '66 were a dual pattern block that could use both small bell (8.5" clutch) and the larger bell (9").
