Default Painted Bumper?

Well i have been doing lots of thinking towards this idea of mine. I would like to paint the front and rear bumpers to match giving the car a much cleaner retro mod type of look. What are your thoughts?

Not to bad. I would buy an extra set of bumbers to do it to, if you are currently using the stock ones.

im probably going to do this. it makes it look more modern and you save 200 bucks on front and rear bumpers.

Guys,
These classic cars deserve chrome bumpers to break up the body color!!

Chrome definitely is what looks good on these cars, but seeing those restomods the painted bumpers can be tastefully done and make it look both modern and unique.

true, im still leaving some chrome on the windows, and around the hood edge and the grill border.

normally i would say chrome it out but lately ive been feeling like subtle changes like that would really make you look at it because you woludl normally expect the chrome.

I've been planning to do this. I likethe look of color matched bumpers and less chrome on the body myself. I prefer to break up the body lines etc, with stripes something like the Bossesor the Shelbys had.

Chrome on the engine is another story, I like a lot of chrome or polished metal on the engine and accessories. [sm=bling.gif]
