Default Powerplant...installed...for now

So I posted awhile back that i had finally gotten my 5.0 EFI AOD donor vehicle home and tonight me and a couple buddies finally got the engine and trans into the car. It took us about 2-3 hours to get it out of the orginal and about 1 hour to get in the stang. Looking at the pics my engine compartment looks like a mess but I had to put it in for storage purposes because I'm going back to school in the fall and won't have a lot of time to work on it. I plan to pull it back out and have the wholebay blasted and painted so hopefully the next time i put it in will be the last i have to, andit'll look good. I am gonna try to get it to start hopefully in a week or so because it was supposedly a running engine, just had a bad starter (new one on the way).

You might want to get those frame rails blasted too.

yeah, im going to have him actually do the entire underside of the car. Im only having him do parts of the car first so I dont get too ahead of myself in terms of time to get stuff done.

Hey, i actually had Waffles post on one of my posts Its kinda funny, when the engine was in the lincoln it looked like a pretty good size, when it was on the hoist it looked huge, and now in the 72 it looks so small, kinda cute even, "Aww, such a small engine." There is so much room for accessories and maybe even a set of long tubes
