Hey man, I just put a 351W in my 67 that had a 302 in it. Just take it out drop the 351 in. Everything should bolt up for ya. No suspension upgrades need to be done. Based on the information I got on the 8 inch rear you SHOULD be ok with stock power but watch getting into it on a launch and having it catch and snap something, but other than that you should be good.

You should get an export brace and monte carlo bar regardless of your car, it does wonders. I still need the monte carlo bar in my car though, but I've got the export.

i think the c4 bolts right up to the 351. im not sure but maybe a different flywheel or flexplate if anything.

but i would look into brake/suspension work if everything is still 40yr stock. then go to the motor. just my .02
