So Isk, now that you have had some problems with the carb, would you go with an EFI insted if you were starting the project over. If so, which one? I'm trying to learn.

Oh yeh, I have made my shar of mistakes and T&E has been my best teacher, but it costs usually. I have set myself on fire twice in the last week. I now have no hair on my belly. Back to the garage.

The only problems I had were trusting a company that didn’t know jack about making a blow through carb. I looked over the forums and knew of companies people recommended, but decided to go with a local carb builder(Performance Carb in Ontario, Ca). The carb was running way too rich.Luckily Dustin at CPR knew enough to get back to “stock†and then start the jetting.Theres nothing wrong with running a carb.

just the guy i wanted to hear from! appreciate the info man, its best to hear from someone who knows! i do have a question however, i see that youre setup is not intercooled, and when i went to CPR streetmachines and google i couldnt find many either, is there some problem with intercooling these set ups? i know how to do it, and have the FMIC, and i know ill lose a little boost, but just curious as to why you wouldnt run a front mount on an application with power like yours. great lookin car. oh and do you like the extreme velocity carb hat? i was either gunna buy that one, a used paxton carb enclosure or this 100 dollar carb hat thats cheap

A company called Spectre also makes those. I have to get one of those soon.
