Default my slow process motor update

finally got my last parts for my motor so now im ready for dyno. got my carb, distributor, wires, and coil. just waiting for some spark plugs thatll be here on monday. oh and i have to order some valve covers cause mine dont fit.

670 street avenger
pro billit ready to run msd distributor (i took out the vaccuum cylinder and replaced it with the lockout plate kit it comes with)
custom length 8.5mm msd wires
blaster 2 coil

some of this sounds familiar cause i make a lot of threads about my motor but most of the threads in classic section are boring and dont have pics.

haha, it sounds like me! I FINALLY just tonight got my 351 bolted in, that was a pain, the headers.... were a pain, had to grind a bolt down to make them fit. Put the radiator in. The fan doesn't bolt up anymore because the radiator is bigger. I need to make a bracket for the alternator... Hotrodding is no fun right now. It's been three weeks since I started, and I'm hoping Sunday is my LAST. Nice looking engine though.

well you cant see but theres about 12 more motors up there. the sbc you see has a gigantic blower on it. its been sitting there for a few years. longer than ive worked there. and in the 2nd pic you can barely see the corner of a BB wedge, 500ci race motor. and then you can see the bottom end of a GNX turbo v6.

in the first picture you cant see it but theres a big block chevy directly behind my motor. you can see the gold pan under the plastic bag.

and the valve covers are nice, i blasted them and repainted them gloss black, but i shouldve painted painted em satin black cause they have finger prints on em now. but ill probly sell em for like 40 or 50 bucks since i cant use em. i painted them completely black and then took laquer thinner and cleaned off the lettesr and left the fins black.
