Default gauges

what are some complete gauge/gauge cluster setups for a 66? i dont want the digital cause i dont have $550. i have my old bezel, but i dont want the old style gauges they come with. like the fuel, amp, oil, and temp gauges. is there any aftermarket mechanical gauges that would be a direct fit into the stock bezel? and no white faced plates for me thanks[8D]

i liek this oil pressure gauge, and id like to get matching of the rest of the gauges, but will they fit in my bezel or is it an individual gauge that is hung under the dash or something?

I think they are 3 3/8" speedo and tach. 2 1/16" fuel, oil pressure, and water temp.

im looking on cj pony parts but theres 25 pages of gauges. ive gone through about 18 of em. most of it is aftermarket really expensive gauges, like $150 for a water temp gauge[&:]. im looking for a kit with all 5 gauges for 200-300$.

pretty much all im asking is, do they sell a kit like the digital bezel gauges but with mechanical style gauges?

Well you said you didn't want white faced. A company has a set of 5 for $140 for a 65-66 mustang panel, but they are white faced. Same company makes black ones also. Here is link.

Well If you click shop for dash panels they have gauges for mustang bezel. You could email them and see if you could get those gauges in black.

i think the best way to do it would be to use the aftermarket gauge pod for the 66 bezel that most must venders have for sale. Thats what i used when converting my 65 stock guages to the gt or 66 style.

mustangdepot makes an a-pillar dual gauge mount if youre interested. im mounting my boost gauge on the column (its a stock STi gauge so its got a kinda concave base to mount on a column) and fuel pressure and oil pressure on the a pillar.
