Default Noob post about engine parts

I know I will probably sound like a noob here. But i'll risk it because as you could tell from any of my messages I have no useful info to contribute. So here goes.Does anyone know of a websiteI could look at which will tell me every part of classic mustang engines. I would like to learn more about the engines. I know about the history of the cars from my Mustang Books, but that gets boring, I want to get technical now.

I know its another book, but have you tried the "How to rebuild small-block ford engines" book? I'm sure that has what you're looking for. I believe that is the book i've heard great things about

Well I've personally never used the book, I've just heard great things about it. Since its for small block its probably covering mostly the 260, 289, 302, 351w. Since the windsor family is all similar I'm guessing it mostly has that, and I'm sure it include hte 351c as well, because you can't have a ford small block book without that engine

but anything above that is considered a big block so it wouldn't be in that book.

that book is awesome. covers just aboutevery small block.

Covers 221, 260, 289, 302, 351W, 351C, 351M & 400

even though some of the above may be big blocks...

This book is great on technical advice and explaining what does what and why. I rebuilt a 302 using this book my first time, and i'll put it to you this way, when I was done, the engine ran... so that's at least a start!

check out half.com or ebay... you can pick it up for way less than borders.

I'd recommend spending the $20 on the Tom Monroe book, "Rebuilding Small Block Fords." It's worth the money.
