Default engine problem

I just finished a total rebuild of '65 Mustang 289, A code. Professional block bore, boiled out, magnafluxed, cylinder head rebuild, crank line bore, etc, etc. Reassembly went well, I've rebuilt many engines (Ford 312, Ford 215, BMW, Jaguar, etc.) and all was ok. But when I go to start the engine for the first time, it started okay, I shut it down after running about a minute and a half to check things over and I find that the oil pan is full of white, foamy oil. About 3.5 quarts of antifreeze pumped into the oil pan and now I'm short of antifreeze in the radiator.

How could that much antifreeze mixture get into the oil pan? It's like it was pumping direct, not just a litlle leak in the headgasket, mind you - this is 3.5 quarts in under 2 minutes!!!!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Went bad? What went bad? The guy is just asking a question, and folks are just trying to help him out with his problem with his Mustang. However, you are correct in that it is a duplicate question. I don't see there is a problem here. Either answer the question or don't.

I did...and so did everybody else...in the other one. This "duplicate" is worthless. See

I'd bet you $69 that you have a leak between your intake manifold and one of / both of the heads, or the timing cover/water pump housing. May want to try the timing cover first since it's less of a pain in the butt and more a more likely suspect.
