Default Looking at 65 Mustang

I'm looking at a 1965 white Mustang that's for sale. It needs A LOT of work. And I do mean A LOT. Pretty much everything needs work done to it. It's an I6. I have some pictures of it and I'd like to get an idea of what some of you may think it's worth before I call the seller about it. Yeah it's in pretty bad shape but I think it would be a fun project car to slowly build up. Thanks!

I'd pay $600 for it if it runs good.

It has a 67 gas cap. That would be a good project. I'm not really sure about a price though.

It looks like a lot of cosmetic work...like a whole new interior. The body looks in good shape though. The dents in front of the rear wheel and in the door don't look like they have broken any body filler. I think $500 is fair. It could bring that as a parts car.

How deep are your pockets and how many welding skills do you have? thats the factor. Looks like a rust bucket, but if the frame is good i, motor and drive line intact I would offer 5-9 hundred for the project

These sound like pretty reasonable prices to me. I was kind of thinking it should be less than 1K b/c of the condition it's in and being a 6 cyl.

I'll be giving the seller a call tomorrow and get more info about it. If I could get it for 500 I'd be good. Of course, seeing how much it's going to cost to get it up and going will sure make a sad story given how much there is to do.

Is it an 8 or a 6? What does he want?

The body looks pretty good, white really shows rust and the side shot doesn't show any.

If the car is solid...And...

It's a 6 - $1000

It's an 8- $1500

Drive it to New England and at least double your money. If it's solid.

ORIGINAL: BA Mustang

I wouldn't expect a nice clean engine bay that's for sure. I couldn't figure out how to open the hood. LOL. I know that sounds bad. I didn't see any levers to pull on inside so I don't know. And what I mean by that is everything I pulled on didn't pop the hood. Who knows what they did.
