haha acctually ive been workin 3 jobs. my real job (investment banking agency, i do the bitch work) during the day. 2/3 full car details on my days off with a partner (45 bucks an hour) and then valeting at night. just dropped the investment banking bitch job so i can relax a little before school starts. thanks you guys, the rally pack idea is freakin nice! i didnt think of that! im goin for kinda a sleeper look. same look the car has now, gauges mounted in the glove box or some concealed style ****...only the open downpipe exiting after the passenger side front tire is gunna be the give away...and the sound of my blow off valve...errr....but most people wont know whats up! ill keep yall in the loop!

No offense, but whats the big deal with these??? I mean, they are just parts store Sunpro Elcheapo guages. Nothing special. If they were Autometers Id be more impressed. I just don't really care for the sunpro guages because they look cheaply made (and the price reflects that). Not saying that you should dump a ton of money or anything, sometimes you can find smoking deals (but you already know about that) and get stuff for the low low. Maybe you are just planning on racing the car? If so then looks don't matter, but if I was planning on making a nice show car out of it, Autometer all the way. Sounds like your project is coming together, keep up the good work!

thanks man, yeah auto meter stuff is no doubt better quality and finish, but im doin this build on a budget and the reason im showin this stuff off, even if its not impressive to you guys, its because its exciting to me seeing my project come together and i wanted to share.

Yeah TYLER72 chill out man. These forums are not all about who has the biggest bank account, the guy got new parts.Who cares if they came from the wheeler dealer, bob's pawn and lottery or Walmart. Not everyone can drop cash on stainless steel gold plated diamond incrusted gauges from Macy's.
We all see you have no love for Sunpro and are in bed with Auto-meter, Just don't rip on the guy for buying what he wants dollar value or not.
The paint for my car was $450.00 a gallon,my gauge cluster cost me $29.00 at Autozone for 3 gauges made by Equis, does this mean my car is crap now? lol

I'm sure when EMPOC is done with his project he would race you pinky for pinky (or maybe gauge cluster for gauge cluster) even with his ugly little Sunpro Elcheapo guages......

Your car is adding up pretty sweet EMPOC We are all following along with your build and can't wait to see how she rolls!!
