Default ring and pinon, and posi unit

hey you guys im looking for gears and a posi for my 65 mustang with 8" rear end. I know the rear end is gunna pop, but until then i need some gears and a positive traction unit. my question is, who makes gears and more importantly who makes the posi unit, because i cant find any one who makes one for the 8" theyre all for 8.8s and 9s. I see richmond makes gears, but the lowest is a 3.55 and ive been told 3.25 would be ideal for my boosted set up. any help would be great! thanks guys! and websites where you can buy said items would be awesome too.

summit racing sells trac loc style units and gears for the 8 inch...detroit locker ect ect... they'll run about 500 for the unit plus add gears or you can buy a whole 3rd member off ebay for around 700 all set up and ready to go... I just researched this yesterday as I just gernaded my 8 inch trac loc in my 66 friday night

well, if you drive it with some sense and want to keep it a driving car, it won't pop. i personally think a nice 8 will hold up to 400 hp if it is romped on every once in a while and not every time you drive it.

its gunna be a street/strip car and im gunna beat it, i wont lie. mostly everything in the car has been rebuilt, i drove it everyday for over a year, it was my only car, and i beat it. its a strong car seeing as how 90 percent has been rebuilt. but to say i will romp on it rarely is just a lie. thats why i think it will pop, the car has and is going to see a lot of abuse.

put a powertrax trac loc unit in it.. the stock spider gears will gernade under 400 rwhp......my 66 runs low 13's @ 104 and rwhp is around 270 and I just took out my stock unit and I don't hammer on it all that much..in fact it happened on the street the other night [:@]

oh, well then why not save the money for a built up 9 with 31 spline or better. you're most likely gonna spend some serious money on the 8, so just go for a 9.
