Custom Trunk and Stereo FINISHED! *pics*
Looks great. What kind of glue did you use for the sub box. And did you use screws or nails. Are their 2 subs? Anyway, I like something protecting the inside of the rear quaters especially if you haul something in the trunk. No dints from the inside out. I have made that mistake a time or two.
Thanks guys, for the sub box I used gorilla wood glue and used this awesome nail gun that my dad had that shot those tiny nails with no heads in. He's a architect and builder so he has some awesome tools haha. Just 1 sub, a single 10". However, you can always put one on the otherside as well, but I'm planning on putting my spare tire in eventually. I'm just gonna put some padding on the amp on the back and like velcro it down just so it doesn't smash my quarter panel, but I'm not worried because its heavy enough and has a large base so it doesn't move much
Looks nice and probably sounds quite nice as well, very good job. It's also interesting to see the subtle interior differences between your mach and my coupe, and the lack of AC vents above your radio looks weird to me.
69FB, thanks! what show is this? maybe I will come haha
Nabster, Thanks for the compliment, yeah for me it is weird to see the AC vents above the radio, I guess I'm just used to the lack of AC
It sure sucks here in the summer, I just have my floor vents and windows open the whole time

4Reboy here's the link to the thread. Don't know how you missed it but I'd love to see a 69 in good shape.

69FB, don't know how I missed it either, but I don't think I can make that. I'll be up in san luis obispo for college and alabama is a little far from california

Regular wood glue is the best to use for sub box's when using mdf. Use brad nails or predrill/countersink and use screws to hold it while glueing. Remember glue is where the holding together comes. Screws/nails are used for curing. Use some good silicone caulking sealant when you finish.
