Default 69 mustang, almost mine

I posted this in the newbie section, but I figure ill post it here as well, because it deals with the classics.

Ill just repost what is in the other area.

I found this one by accident.

I was talking to a lady at church one day, and I mentioned to her that I was bummed out because my wife and I only had one car, and I was itching to get one for myself, I went on to say that I was looking for a car from the sixties to early seventies, because they were easier for me to work on than the new stuff.

She said her husband had a mustang that he bought for her, but she wasn’t into the car scene, and he might be willing to part with it. I asked her the year and she said 69.

After talking to her husband, he said he would sell it to me, but he wanted to get it running first, which im in the process of helping him. its all original except the engine which is a 78 302, but I can live with that. The only other thing it needs is carpet and the front seats covered, and a whole lot of cleaning...

Is that a picture of it? If so, it looks like it needs more than just some cleaning.
BTW, you have a great first name. Same as mine......

Dig the car my friend! I'd love to have a 69 or a 72 Grande one day. For now I'm neck deep in projects that I can't even get to for another 7 months

More updates:

Installed the Hood, front bumper, grill, and a couple small parts. As it is now, it runs and drives, I just need the gas tank, exhaust, new tires, and more cleaning

Better not drive too far without headlights. Might get in some trouble with the police.
