Was wondering if anyone has seen this on any other classic mustangs? In the picture I am referring to the pieces beside the hood latch on top of the grille. Also what does everyone think about them?

you're talking about the little cover things along the top of grille right? Looks like a custom job to me. Ehh, dunno if i like them/

I think it would look better flat black or if it was the same color as your engine bay so it blended well. But I'm not crazy about it either

 

Yeah. I didn't have flat black. I might have a little of the engine bay black left. I need to paint the latch also.

 

A guy on ebay sells a pre made one. I dont like the one you have in the picture. Most dont have a cut out for a horn. The best ones are 100% custom. Check out the link.

IMO I like the look but it needs to be fully custom to achieve the look

I don't like having to relocate the horns for that. That is why I made mine. I might cover the horns if I have enough fiberglass left. Plus I made mine for like 14 dollars. They are like the consoles, why buy an expensive one when you can make it yourself.
